I was born and raised in a small beach town in Florida called New Smyrna Beach. My father passed away when I was twelve. He left my mom to raise me along with 4 other siblings on her own. I graduated high school and attended college at the local community college while working at a local pizza shop and grocery store. I left school and made a move to Atlanta maybe a couple years after being in college after a long time school friend passed away. I just wanted something new and to get away from all the memories of my past and present life and make new ones somewhere else. Not realizing I would be moving back home after a couple of years because of how homesick I was, mostly because I missed my mom dearly.
By this time I was in my 20’s and was working, dating and having fun living the single life! After several different types of jobs from the time I was 16 I settled down in the job force and was at a corporate job (this wasn’t my career, but allowed me to have health insurance and paid my bills). I didn’t enjoy my work, but stayed for seven years! 
During this time I started dating my hairstylist (my now husband)! We dated for five of the seven years that I worked in the corporate world. After those five years he finally proposed to me, we were married 7 weeks later and then pregnant with our first child 2 months later. I stayed at my corporate job for the first year of my son’s life and decided to leave when I was four months pregnant with our second child. I was not happy, because I was missing out on every little thing he was doing. So I had to make a change. I talked to my husband and we decided I would look for a part time position somewhere that I could also have health insurance through the employer.
So, by this time I’m in my 30’s and I got the part time position even though I was pregnant (which I was honest up front when I got the call that I had an interview). This April will be three years that I have been working part time mornings at the first job I have ever actually liked. After my second year there I decided that even though I liked this job which allowed me to have more time with my kids and my family, I needed something more. My husband then suggested that I start my own spray tanning business. 
I thought….WOW this is just what I was looking for. Something creative and that would help others and myself. So I took his idea and ran (and I mean I RAN ) with it! Everything just fell into place and that NEVER happens or happened to me. That’s how “Mystified Mobile Airbrush Tanning” started and now I love that I get to really enjoy my life and that I get to have more time with our children!
P.S. Mystified was a nickname given to me by my friends at that corporate job. I am still in contact with them to this day too!
GRATITUDE
I am grateful to all my friends for always being there, my teachers in school and in life for teaching me the many lessons I’ve learned and my clients that have stood by me as I started this journey in the tanning business. To those who are no longer here on Earth, you live on in my heart, cheering me on every step of the way and ALL of you in my life (you know who you are) are pure AWESOMENESS!
